Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire resides in a uninhabited area of Montreal Island called West Island. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of communities. Many who've never been aware of it frequently confuse it with an island that is west-facing. The West Island is frequently referred to as the location of birth of Amanda Brugel but while that is the case, her time there was short. Brugel developed on Courtice just outside Oshawa in Ontario. Early ambitions were to become a dancer. But, a growing rate increased her height and she outgrew her dance partners she was able to have. The article she wrote about her experience revealed that was published in The Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall when wearing heels. After I surpassed my male counterparts and gave up, I decided to give up. The Brugel is one of the former dancers who turned to acting. The teacher she had at high school was what pushed her in the right direction. She was encouraged to audition for a part in the school's production. After a few auditions her options, she was eventually the lead actress in Anne of Green Gables. It led to her receiving the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship from York University. In 2000 she graduated with a BA in Fine Arts at York University. Since then, she's appeared performing in over 60 plays, large and small. One of the most memorable was the time she was cast as Rita on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel is the only Canadian actor on the show in the season 1 and was only seen on occasion.
